A particularly attractive example of Yomud pile carpets imitating kilim designs.This piece displays a vibrant ivory pattern against a rich palette of reds,blues and browns.The decorative pile skirts at each end of the field are in the "flying eagle" design.The weave is meaty with excellent wool.All the colors are from natural sources.The rug is in very good condition.Please see number 179 under this category for a similar example.
