The cartouche shape dark blue sub field hosts a nested red medallion with complex pendants within a close repeat of rosettes,leaves,stems and flowers.The taube field shows cloudbands,palmettes,flowers,vinery and buds.There are botehs in the medallion and in the field corners.The emerald green main border presents numerous connected floral elements.The flanking beige ground minor border show reversing fan palmettes.There are four narrow barber pole lines in red and beige,ivory and beige and light blue and beige.This carpet is very much in Persian Feraghan Sarouk style.The colors are vivid and the handle is leathery.The condition of this sophisticated piece is good.
