Fachralo Kazak prayer rug from southwest Caucasus

This traditional Caucasian scatter features a red field in the Fachralo manner with a square lower re-entrant,faceted arch,two green fringed medallions,seven floating hexagonal cartouches and two red and navy boxes surrounded by multicolor barber pole line.The ivory main border is in the characteristic Fachralo style with red,yellow,blue and green triangles defined by stepped slanted leaves.There are four dotted barber pole lines in the border system and similar lines define both the re-entrant and the niche.At both ends are red flatwoven bands.This beautiful prayer Kazak rug is slightly larger than other examples.All the colors are from natural sources.The piece is in good condition.
