The hexagonal ivory field with its “sinekli (fly)” design hosts a diamond shape central medallion enclosing a red cross,and two palmettes at the pointed ends.The blue spandrels display small botehs and they are followed by panels with connected palmettes.There are numerous borders including ones with floating flowers,meanders,zigzags,ribbons and other floral motifs.The flatwoven selvedges are original.At each end is a white cotton flatweave and knotted warps.The colors are soft and attractive.The piece is in good condition.
