Zeikhour rug from eastern Caucasus,west coast of the Caspian Sea

The abrashed green field is almost completely covered by a dark blue cartouche containing an abstract version of a French floral bouquet.In each corner of the field are large Zeikhour pink and red cabbage roses.There is a subtle trellis in light blue accenting the reminder of the center and yellow finials at the ends of each cartouche.The only border is a narrow ribbon-like design border.The weave is fine and compact.The colors are vivid.The brocaded ends are perfect and the rug is in original condition.SOLD
