The classic Asmalyk sawtooth lattice pattern delineates ivory ashiks each centered by a dark blue cruciform. The lattice is sectioned in navy, cardinal red and purple brown. The main border has a syrga design on ivory and is flanked by red and blue minors. There are two additional multicolored tuning fork patterned guards. The top two sections of this Asmalyk are striped in parallelogram patterns. Most unusually is the soumak surround on two sides and the bottom. The soumak edging is rarely preserved on these bridal trappings. All the colors are from natural sources. The condition is very good including the original multicolored tassels.
