The navy field displays an attractive hooked octagon,and is surrounded by small quartered lozenges.Two similar elements are displayed in the burgundy octagon center.The ivory main border shows an alternation of slanted leaves and Y shapes.There is an outer red surround with rosettes.At the lower end is a panel consisting of two diagonally multicolor barred lines and a central yellow band with rosettes as the most unusual feature.There are several solid lines in the border system.At each end is a plainweave band.All the colors are from natural sources.The handle is soft and pliable and the piece is in good condition.
