This variant of the Sewan Kazak pattern has a bold central medallion,extended into head and tail,and outlined with an ivory band ornamented by "S" ‘s.The red field is simple and uncluttered,and the border of cartouches on a light brown ground contains the powerful medallion.The pattern is sometimes called a "keyhole" layout,but symmetrized top and bottom.The colors are beautiful and the rug is in good condition.
