This is a rare version of the Sewan Kazak design in which the deep green medallion ends in keyhole motif. The rich madder red field is internally edged with ivory and dark blue double hooks.Furthermore the dark blue triangular fillers connected with ivory bands frame the keyholes. The ivory main border is segmented by barber pole stripes and each cell contains a hooked diamond motif. There are inner and outer red and blue reciprocal borders, each in a different pattern. All the colors are from natural sources. The pile is soft and high. The condition is very good.

THROUGH OUR EFFORTS TO PROVIDE THE HIGHEST QUALITY IMAGES, WE USE VERY HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTOS. IF YOU CANNOT SEE THE WHOLE RUG PLEASE TRY REFRESHING THE PAGE – SOME LONG RUGS MAY NOT FIT WITHOUT ZOOMING.
