The tomato red field displays three giant Memling Guls enclosing hooked and stepped cruciform motifs.In the central ivory Gul are two small birds.Dark blue,medium blue,yellow and green are among the accent colors.Several human figures,a bird,stars and other interesting elements are scattered about.The wide ivory main border displays hourglasses,volutes and three tine combs.The flanking dark blue minor borders feature a polychrome vine pattern and there are four two tone barber pole lines and barber pole outlines to all three Guls.The wool is extremely soft and velvety.All the colors are from natural sources.The pile is high and thick and the condition is good.SOLD
