This attractive runner originates in the Kurdistan/Luristan border area.The flower bouquet border appears on Luri rugs from this area as do the striped guard borders.The red and ivory field motifs are embedded in a close scatter fill on an indigo ground.The runner format is strictly Kurdish,however,and Luri runners are both rarer and lack the precise drawing.This attractive rug from a not yet defined group is in perfect condition.SOLD
