This very finely knotted Kuba rug displays a curvilinear lattice enclosing rows of well detailed flowers in a variety of styles,all on a deep indigo ground.The ivory chalice and slant leaf main border is classic for Kuba rugs.The inner and outer borders have bead-and-reel border.The innermost stripe is decorated with connected hexagon chain.The knotted end finishes are extraordinary for their width and condition.The wool is extremely soft and velvety.All the colors are from natural sources.The pile is high and the condition is good.SOLD
