Size: 5′.7″x3′.8″ (170×112 cm)

This piece is an unusual smaller example of the type.The ivory pole medallion is composed of two large and three smaller hexagons and is set on a red subfield displaying pomegranates.The surrounding field is patterned in narrow stripes in ivory,red and navy.The navy main border hosts additional pomegranate stems along with smaller flowers.The minor borders in deep yellow and ivory display similar designs,with variations at the top end of the outer ivory border.At one end is a red flatwoven cicim type finish while the other has a flatwoven style.All the colors are from natural sources.The wool is soft and velvety.The condition of this sweet collectable piece is good.
