The unusual deep spruce green field displays a classic ivory octagonal Karatchoph medallion within dotted corners.The medallion is centered by a red suboctagon with an ivory focus.There are twelve unusual motifs resembling crabs and insects in the ivory reserve.There are four star filled ivory boxes in the corners of the field and tertiary geometric devices scattered about.The madder red main border employs a classic version of the chalice and slant leaf pattern.In addition there are two red and ivory reciprocal guard stripes in a triangle design.There are several black and blue solid lines present.The colors are from natural sources including the aubergine.The wool is soft and the condition is good.
