This oriental rug design hooked rug shows an aubergine field centered by an elaborate ivory,red and blue cartouche enclosing two brick color medallions with internal and external paired hooks.At each end of the field is an aubergine panel with four lazy S’s in various colors.The center and the end panels are separated by a red and blue surround.The main border hosts a reciprocal wave pattern in blue and light yellow.The handle is soft and pliable.The colors are vibrant.The condition of this charming piece  is good.
