Size: 3′.8″x2′.2″ (112×66 cm)

The date is not subtly placed,but the large ivory panel virtually dominates the field array of three tonally differing Memling Guls.A scattering of chessboard panels and other small forms drift about the field.The zig zag design abrashed blue main border,dark brown and ivory reciprocal secondary border and three barber pole narrow lines add charm to this rare and collectible item.There are touches of fuchsin,chronologically appropriate for the date.There is natural corrosion in the brown and even pile wear,but the sides and ends are original.SOLD
