This carpet is woven in slit tapestry,pileless technique,but it is thick and firm enough for the floor.The abrashed dark brown field is decorated with eight "X" ‘s,each surrounded by "S" motifs.The latter repeats in the yellow tan border.The pattern is simple,but striking.The rug is in good condition and ready for use.
