The red madder field is almost completely covered by three conjoint ivory octagons displaying hooked and stepped crosses in the Memling Gul style.Each motif hosts a central ivory diamond enclosing a red star and numerous blue and yellow tiny motifs.Along the sides are columns of dark blue hooks and other lesser elements.The ivory main border employs colorful quartered rosettes and is flanked by two wider bitonal barber pole lines and three tonally en suite narrower ones.At each end is a broad red flatwoven band and there are three piled triangles in the upper.On each side is a thin red flatwoven selvedge.The handle is pliable and chunky.This attractive piece occupies a special place between Yastiks and scatters.The condition of this attractive piece is good.
