This attractive north Persian bag face presents a small ivory field almost completely covered by a flattened and richly hooked lozenge gul like big medallion and several smaller medallions.The ivory main border shows floating colorful octagonal medallions.There are two burnt orange minor borders decorated with chains of small red squares.In addition there is an extra ivory panel with a reciprocal keyhole design.At the bottom end are colorful and intact closure tabs while at the top end is a complex combination of various techniques including,pile,kilim and cicim.All the colors are from natural and vegetable sources.The piece is in good condition.
