The slightly abrashed navy field employs an allover characteristic Kuba Zeikhour or Chi Chi pattern of rosettes,octagons,leaves,palmettes and lesser elements including quincunxes and lazy S’s.The colors include: shades of red;shades of blue;shades of green;ivory,brown and yellow.The single ivory border shows a connected leaf and rosette panel in various colors and is flanked by solid red lines.At each end is a blue soumak finishing.The selvedges are similarly in a light blue tone.All the colors are from natural sources.The weave is tight and the piece is in good pile and condition.The size of this unusually small collectable rug is rare.
