The black field displays three characteristic Zejwa medallions in ivory and madder.The central colors include,navy,yellow and moss green.There are four amusing animals and at one end of the field is a row of polychrome shield like motifs.In addition there are feather like flowers,rosettes,lazy S’s and diamonds.The ivory main border shows a diagonal stepped S pattern between flanking bitonal reciprocal red and blue minor borders.There are several solid lines in the border system.At each end is a narrow blue soumak finishing followed by a knotted warp net.All the colors are from natural sources.The piece is in good condition with naturally corroded black background.
