The navy ground is closely covered by a mostly uniform array of lozenges enclosing stepped diamonds in;shades of red,shades of blue,green,yellow,ivory,dark brown and burgundy.There are several partial color diagonals in the field as well as several raised monochrome lines surrounding the dark blue main border and the ivory secondaries.The navy main border employs rosettes while the minor borders both feature connected colorful diamonds.There are four narrow barber pole lines in the border system.The handle is firm and the weave is medium.All the colors are from natural sources.The piece is in good condition.
