The navy ground features an enlarged, but elaborated,Perepedil design with ram’s horns, snowflakes, dragons, birds, small animals, lazy S’s and other interesting elements.Up the center are three ivory octagons with red hooked motifs. The main border shows an ivory and navy complex reciprocals, while the inner and outer secondary borders show rosettes and square medallions on light blue and ivory respectively. The guard stripes are both in connected S patterns on ivory and yellow. There are four quincunx narrow lines in the border system. The size is exceptionally large and therefore quite unusual. All the colors are from natural sources. The handle is pliable and the condition is good. The carpet is not cut but merely rolled at one end to fit the screen.
