The old ivory field displays a repeating pattern of floating and partially attached pinched rosettes,quatrefoils,diamonds,geometric leaves,stylized palmettes and tiny dots.The field colors include green,yellow,red,navy,blue and rose.The main border features the characteristic Zeikhour red and rose stylized S pattern and is flanked by yellow minor borders with red stretched S’s.Surrounding the field is a red frame with stars and dark brown diamond chain.At each end is a knotted warp net.There are five narrow barber pole lines in the border system.The colors are vibrant and alive.The handle is pliable and meaty.The condition of this attractive piece is good.
