The tomato madder red field is centered by a characteristic ivory octagon centered by a green stepped Memling Gul which is flanked by red octagons.Four small yellow boxes,stars and lateral hooks are also featured.There are four ivory corner star filled boxes and twelve lesser rectangled ones with double hooks.The major center medallion is embedded in a rectangular mosaic of tiny squares and there are additional multicolor hooks on the sides.The yellow main border displays a two style S pattern more commonly encountered on eastern Caucasian rugs.The flanking blue minor borders,both present ribbon meanders.There are four red and white dotted and narrow barber pole lines in the border system.The red flatwoven end finishes are sewn under.The handle is meaty and flexible.The colors are vivid and attractive.SOLD
